My wife and I are from Korea. We have two sons who grew up in Singapore and are now grown up and have beautiful families of their own. Our family takes great pride in introducing Korean food to Singapore and sharing the taste of authentic Korea. We meet many customers and friends, and we get so much joy from our interactions.

The name of our restaurant, ‘Hongdae’, is derived from the name of the area in Seoul, Hongik University. It is well known as a place where young, free-spirited people can actively engage in cultural activities. For this reason, we chose the name ‘Hongdae’ to approach customers who love Korea in a friendly way. We hope you can experience delicious Korean food prepared with love and care in a comfortable atmosphere at our restaurant.
